A couple LiftOne questions.

I don't understand a couple things about this LiftOne site. What is the differance between "Friends" and "Fans"?

Also, what is the "My Sets" intended for? What are "My Sets"?

  • Yes, those pictures are something people would like to see.  I think all the sponsors on this site are interested in learning and understanding the situation in various countries.  And, if you've had a certain experience and can share, those of us who have not been fortunate enough to see what you have, can learn from it.

  • Thank you cvalda, I see that there are tabs for Photos and Videos. I only wonder why there needs to be the My Sets tab. It's no big thing at all. I'm sure after I use LiftOne for awhile I will learn more.


    I enjoy talking to other people who are interested in helping children who suffer in poverty. I put together a few pictures of the poverty in the Philippines. Those pictures moved me to look for a way to help these families who live in such terrible conditions. Do you think these pictures are appropriate to post on this site?

  • "Sets" are a collection of media and blogs based on a certain theme. It's not quite up and running yet, as I created a couple that never showed up.  For instance, I could create a set of "letters from sponosored kids" and it would include just what the title says.  I don't know if they're just going to allow sets that admins create or ones from members as well.
