The Beautiful Yoselin Twins

 Hello to everyone.

I received word from Guatemala that both of my girls can attend school, but do not because their parents cannot afford the uniforms they need to go .

The Beautiful Yoselin Twins                In the sng I was told it would cost $250.00 for both of these girls to receive the

uniforms they need.  I have set up a fundraising page at

                             www.firstgiving.com/yoselintwins

I have sent emails to all my family and friends, and on Saturday plan to

                                    do a yard sale.

With the money needing to be there by December I am a little concerned about being able to do this.  So If any of you can possibly help,it would be greatly appreciated.

                                         thank you

  • Well I am going to do another yard sale this weekend, of course they did not put it in the paper, but hey if I make 25.00 this week ,added to last week I will 20% of the way there.I read an article from CI today that it cost around 180 to 200 a year to send a child in guatemala to school, so I can understand why the girls are not there. dad only makes 1o4 dollars a month and they 6 children.

anyway hopefully no rain and lots of people will show.

  • Well I think CI will help but the girls have to be in school first, and since maybe i just recently started sponsoring them, I need to get them in school, and then maybe CI will help keep them in school using the monthly donations, I am not really sure since I am new.

maybe someone from CI  can clarify this confusion

  • I don´t understand why CI does not do anything about it. They promise us to do this with our general monthly contributions?!!

  • well I had my yard sale today made 23 dollars, not much, but not bad considering I live in the sicks and my ad did not make the local paper, only a sign at end of road, hopefully may ad will run in paper this week, the I will make a little more to donate toward the girls sng.

all i know is that the letter I received from CI said they hsd to have these uniforms before they could begin school in january, maybe it is because I only began sponsoring them 2 moths ago, and no one has before.

when I reach this challenge with (greatly appreciated) help or alone. that In january I will begin to work on a new roof for their home, and food for their table. God will provide
